I’m thinking of getting the phone Sony Ericsson K500i but if I’m going to get it from the Carphone Warehouse I would have to buy it on the Virgin Network because it’s cheaper on that network currently (at £49.95) but I’m not sure if I can put my T-Mobile SIM in it and it would still work on T-Mobile.

Would it work? And if it doesn’t how should unlock it so that it works on T-mobile instead of Virgin?

I have looked in the phone settings and there is not an option to mute. I have also tried my phone on silent mode but this does not work.

The only way I can do it is by using the dics2phone thing that comes with it, but I want to put some songs on it that I don’t have the CD for
