The PSP, or the PlayStation Portable of the Sony Computer Recreation, has become a universal phenomenon, having sold more than 27 million units so far. My sony PS2 Slimline has stopped playing DVD’s and some games, why? I used to play Gran Turismo 4, Grand Theft Auto lll, and a few others on my PS2 but overnight it has stopped working. It will not load them yet it plays other games with no problem like GTA San Andreas, GT3, Singstar and Fifa. Also Used to play DVD’s no problem and now it just won’t load them. Same DVD’s that I have always watched. Why? Please help as it’s frustrating. Thanks.
Discs are fine and work on freinds ps2’s and the laser is fine as plays alot of my other games. there are 7 that won’t work and my entire dvd collection which is working on PC, all my DVD players and my laptop.

I bought a PSP off of a neighbor for $20. He gave me the console and the battery. I have an extra charger and a couple of 32MB Memory Sticks, and I have my own PSP. The one I bought has a cracked screen and I wanted to know how much it would cost to send it into Sony and get the screen replaced. Nice to have more than one working PSP, you know? If one fails, there’s always the other. Just a matter of putting my 1GB stick into the other one, and I’m good to go. Anyway, how much will a new screen cost?
